The world isn't how it seems to be

You know life has many sides

Some are dark and some are bright

But one thing you should know for sure

It's neither a fairytale nor a nightmare. 

It's me, your future self 

Here for you in case you need some help. 

In the near future, you are gonna experience a lot

Life will teach you what should be a priority

And what not

There will be days you'll laugh

There will be days you'll cry enough. 

There will be times when you'll see

A world of hypocrites that you can't agree

There will be days when you'll know

Holding truth and values aren't tough though. 

But proud to share with you

You'll stand strong; alone

And happy to tell you

You'll conquer beyond your comfort zone. 

And in the last; thank you for creating me

Intrepid, stalwart, confident and kind, you see
